From personal experience, it's smooth! Go to the settings by clicking the gear icon, navigate to 'Account Preferences,' and you'll find 'Close Account.' Just follow the prompts. Took me like 5 minutes.
Why are you closing it? Anyways, just go to Settings > Account Preferences > Close Account and follow the instructions. Done and done.
