To make a scarecrow in Stardew Valley, you first need to level up your farming skill to level 1, which usually happens after you've taken care of your first crop. Once you hit level 1, you'll unlock the crafting recipe for a Basic Scarecrow. You'll need 50 wood, 1 coal, and 20 fiber to craft it. Just open your crafting menu and if you have the required materials, you're all set to craft your scarecrow and protect those crops from pesky crows!

You're overthinking it. Just hit farming level 1, then craft it with some basic stuff you find around. If you're playing Stardew, you're gonna end up with lots of wood and fiber anyway. Coal's the only tricky part, but you'll find some.

Honestly, it's super easy. Just play until you're farming level 1, then grab 50 wood, 20 fiber, 1 coal and boom, go to your crafting menu and make that scarecrow. Keep those birds at bay!
