Easy peasy! Just log in to your PayPal account, go to 'Settings' (the cog icon), scroll down to 'Account options', and hit 'Close your account'. Make sure there's no pending balance or transactions first!
Trust me, I've done it. Just ensure there's no money left or pending transactions, then hit up 'Settings' and close it from there.
Log in, click the gear icon in the top right, scroll down to 'Close your account'. Done!
