Attaching bait to a fishing rod in Stardew Valley is super easy once you get the hang of it! First thing's first, you need the Fiberglass Rod or the Iridium Rod, because the starter Bamboo Rod won't let you use bait. After you've got the right rod, open your inventory, pick up the bait by right-clicking or tapping and holding (if you're on mobile), and then click or tap on the rod. Bam! You're all set to catch some fish.

Honestly, it took me longer than I'd like to admit to figure this out. Make sure you're not trying to attach bait to the basic Bamboo Rod like I was. You need the Fiberglass Rod or better. Once you have that, it's as simple as clicking the bait, then your rod. Get ready to reel in the big ones!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
