You can't choose to be the imposter; it's randomly assigned at the start of each game. Just cross your fingers and hope for the best!
Sorry to burst your bubble, but there's no hack or trick to becoming the imposter鈥攊t鈥檚 purely RNG (Random Number Generator) luck.
Based on my experience playing for hours (too many, honestly), the best way is to just keep playing. Luck will eventually be on your side.
