How Do You Cancel Your PayPal Account?
The easiest way to cancel your PayPal account is to log in, go to Settings, click "Close your account" at the bottom of the Account tab, and follow the instructions. Make sure you withdraw any remaining balance before closing it, or it might just vanish like socks in the laundry!

I canceled mine a few months ago. Just make sure to download any transaction history you might need later—it's like keeping a receipt!
