Clay farming in Stardew Valley is pretty straightforward, but it can test your patience. You gotta dig up the soil with your hoe. Spots that work best are the ones with worms sticking out, but honestly, any tillable ground can give you clay. Rainy days seem to up your chances, so get your hoe ready when it starts pouring!

Just keep hoeing! Every piece of dirt in the game has a chance to drop clay. Focus on your farm, the beach, or any other area you can till. No special tricks, just a whole lot of hoeing.

Digging for clay? Waste of time! I just hit the mines hard for everything else and stumble upon enough clay for my needs without even trying.

Honestly, buying it from Robin's shop might save you the headache if you're really in a pinch for clay. Sure, it costs more, but time is money, farmer!
