How do you find silver in Valheim?

I spent hours wandering the Mountains. Got the Wishbone after Bonemass and followed the beeps. Found silver veins buried under the snow. Totally worth it!

Forget Wishbone! Equip Wolf Armor and get lucky in the Mountains biome. Who needs precision anyway?
