To get caviar in Stardew Valley, you gotta get yourself a fish pond and stock it with sturgeon. Wait for them to multiply and eventually, they'll produce sturgeon roe. Then, just pop that roe into a preserves jar, and voila, you've got yourself some fancy caviar!

Caviar? Easy peasy! Fish pond + Sturgeon = Sturgeon Roe. Preserve Jar turns that Roe into Caviar. Presto!

I once thought you needed any fish to make caviar. Nope, it's specific. Only sturgeon roe works, so focus on getting those in your pond and you're golden.

Actually, you need a preserves jar, not a keg. Sturgeon in a fish pond gives you the roe, and then it's the preserves jar that gets you to caviar town.
