Hatching an ostrich egg in Stardew Valley is a bit of an adventure! First, you gotta get your hands on an Ostrich Egg, which you can find in the Island West area inside an artifact trove, if you're lucky. Once you have the egg, don't scramble it for breakfast! You need to put it in the Big Coop’s incubator. Yup, you heard it right, not the regular Coop, but the Big Coop. Patience is key because it takes 12 days to hatch. So mark your calendar and start the countdown!

Remember to upgrade to a Big Coop first or that egg isn’t hatching into anything but disappointment. Stardew Valley doesn’t cut corners, especially not with ostriches!

Just pop the ostrich egg into the incubator in the Big Coop. Wait 12 days. Boom, baby ostrich!

Honestly, who has the time to wait 12 days for an ostrich to hatch? Just buy the mayonnaise.
