If someone blocked you on Discord, your messages won't reach them, and their profile picture might appear as a default gray icon.
Try reacting to a message they posted. If the reaction doesn't show up for you, chances are, you've been blocked.
Hot take: If they blocked you, maybe it's time to move on and focus on your other friends.
From personal experience, when someone blocks you, your DMs with them disappear and you get an error message if you try to message them again!
