Making caviar in Stardew Valley is pretty straightforward but needs some setup. First things first, you gotta catch yourself a sturgeon from the mountain lake during summer or winter. Pop that sturgeon into a fish pond and wait for it to produce roe. Once you've got the roe, just process it in a preserves jar, and voila - you've got yourself some fancy caviar!

Real talk, I spent hours fishing for that sturgeon to make caviar. It was worth it. Catch sturgeon, farm it for roe, and use a preserves jar. Caviar adds a nice touch to your gourmet dishes in the game and sells for a good price too!

Hot take here: everyone's obsessing over making caviar when aged roe is where it's at. But if you must, just get sturgeon roe and slap it in a jar. Easy caviar.
