I’ve done this way too many times: Grab your swamp key, find a crypt, mine the muddy scrap piles for scrap iron, then smelt it with coal. Repeat.

You gotta head to the Swamp biome and look for the sunken crypts. Bust those muddy piles open for scrap iron, then smelt it with coal.

To make iron in Valheim, you need to mine scrap iron from sunken crypts in the Swamp biome using a key you get from the Elder boss. Then, smelt it in a smelter with coal. Voilà, iron bars!
