You can turn off the lights by sabotaging them in the Electrical room if you're playing as the Impostor. Just click on the sabotage button and choose the lights icon.

Turning off the lights is an Impostor move. Go to Electrical, click sabotage, and choose the lights. Boom! Darkness.
