Actually, I found the secret shop by accident when I was just randomly tapping around after getting frustrated with a level. Once I had over 50 diamonds, which wasn't too hard to collect after a while, the purple locked door in the Tools menu just worked. It's like an exclusive club for those who've earned their stripes... or diamonds, in this case.
