Your body in Valheim stays until you pick up your gravestone or the server resets! So take your time, but not too much time.
It stays until Ragnarok... or until you grab your stuff. Valheim wants you to get back in the action asap!
It sticks around. I lost count of how many times I've come back to see my gravestone waiting patiently. Just don't forget where it is!
