If you're just text chatting, Discord won't eat up much data, probably like 1 MB in a whole day. But video calls? Those can munch through up to 1.5 GB an hour!

Discord's data usage depends on what you're doing. Text chatting is pretty light, using around 200-300 KB per hour. Voice calls can range from 28 MB to 128 MB per hour, depending on the quality. Video calls and screen sharing use the most, anywhere from 270 MB to 1.5 GB per hour.

It really depends on your activities on Discord. Text chatting is minimal, but voice and video calls can get pretty hefty in data usage.

Text: negligible. Voice: moderate. Video: data guzzler.

As a regular Discord user, I've noticed that text chat barely uses any data, while voice calls can be anywhere from 3 MB to 8 MB per minute. Video calls can use a lot more, so watch out if you're on a limited data plan!
