Adding a shake effect on death in Geometry Dash is actually pretty straightforward once you get the hang of the editor. First, you need to open the level editor and select the area where you want the effect to happen. Then, look for the 'Shake' trigger in the triggers menu. Place the shake trigger where you want the effect to start (typically where the player might die). You can then adjust the strength and duration of the shake effect to your liking. Don't forget to playtest it to make sure it adds that dramatic flair exactly how you imagined!

Just use the shake trigger, dude. Adjust the settings to make it super dramatic.

Honestly, I tried adding a shake effect once and it just annoyed everyone who played my level. Sometimes simplicity wins. Not every death needs an earthquake.

If you're a Geometry Dash player looking for extra stars or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Geometry Dash essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
