To add fishing tackle to your rod in Stardew Valley, first make sure you've got either the Iridium Rod or the Fiberglass Rod, because the Bamboo Rod won't support it. Then, open your inventory, select the tackle, and right-click (or tap, if you're on mobile) on the rod. Voila! Your tackle's attached and ready to improve your fishing game.

Just grab the tackle and click on your fishing rod if it's not bamboo. Easy!

Double-check you're not trying to add tackle to the Bamboo Rod. Made that mistake once and was puzzled for a good five minutes. Only the Fiberglass and Iridium Rods can be equipped with tackle.

lol, make sure you're not in the 'bamboo zone.' Only Fiberglass and Iridium Rods can get that sweet tackle upgrade.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
