Animation cancelling in Stardew Valley on consoles isn't as straightforward as on PC, but it's definitely doable! A common method involves using an item or tool and then quickly selecting another slot in your toolbar. This interrupts the first action allowing you to move or act faster. It takes a bit of practice to get the timing right, but once you do, you'll be zipping around your farm with efficiency!

I found that if you use a tool and then immediately press the button to open your inventory, it cancels the animation. Helped me save a ton of time while watering crops and breaking rocks. You just have to get used to the rhythm!

Hot take: Honestly, animation canceling on Stardew Valley console versions feels like a hassle. Just enjoy the chill vibe of the game without trying to speedrun your farm chores.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
