Actually, it's all about having the right rod. Bamboo Pole? No bait for you. Get yourself a Fiberglass Rod or an Iridium Rod, then simply click the bait and then your rod. Easy peasy.

Totally disagree with the 'easy' part. Tried it and ended up tossing my bait all over the place. Make sure you're not too quick to click; it sometimes takes a sec for the game to register what you're trying to do.

First things first, make sure you've got the Fiberglass Rod or Iridium Rod because you can't bait the basic Bamboo Pole. Then, open your inventory, pick up the bait (left-click or tap and hold on mobile), and right-click or tap on the rod. Boom, your rod's now baited, and you're ready to catch some fish!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
