How to assign groups to blocks in Geometry Dash
CaringEthos路7 months agoAssigning groups to blocks in Geometry Dash is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. First, go into the level editor. Then, select the block or object you want to group. Look for the 'edit group' button (it looks like three stacked squares) in the object's menu. Click that, and you can enter a group ID or assign it to an existing group. Remember, you can add a single object to multiple groups, which is super handy for complex levels!

Just click the block, hit the edit group button, and type your group number. Easy peasy.
From personal experience, assigning groups to your blocks is a game-changer, especially for creating intricate levels or syncing with the music. Took my level design from 0 to 100 real quick. Just tap on your block, hit the 'edit group' icon, and assign a number. You can even add it to several groups to make your level truly stand out.
Honestly, grouping blocks is overrated. Just place 'em and time your jumps. Who has the time to micromanage blocks?
