You could also disable the GIF permissions for certain channels or roles. Less fun, but definitely effective!

Just a heads up, you can't outright ban specific GIFs directly through Discord's settings. Bots to the rescue!

If you're a server admin, you can use a bot like Dyno or MEE6 to block certain keywords or links to ban specific GIFs. Keeps the chaos to a minimum!

No need to ban GIFs if you just educate your members on proper usage. But if you must, bots are your best bet.
