Pressing down and back simultaneously will block those sneaky low attacks. Trust me, I've dodged many a leg sweep this way.

Simply hold down-back. If you see your character crouching, you're doing it right. Keep those toes safe!

Just hold down-back on the joystick, or if you're using a controller, hold the down direction and press back. Easy peasy!
