You don't block in Metal Gear Rising. Instead, you parry! Push toward the attacker and hit the light attack button as they strike. It's all about timing.
Blocking? Nah, parry like a pro! Move toward your enemy and press light attack at the right moment. Easy peasy!
Just remember, no dedicated block button! Parrying's the way to go: tilt the stick toward the enemy and press the light attack button when they attack.
