How to Build a Base in Valheim
Start by finding a flat, open area, then gather wood and stone. Use your hammer to craft the Workbench first, then build walls, floors, and a roof around it. Don't forget to add a campfire and a bed!

Make sure to place your base near resources like trees and rocks for easy gathering. Also, build near water if you can, for fishing and travel!
First things first, get that Workbench down. Once you have that, everything else is basically Legos. Don't forget to raise the ground around your base with a hoe to prevent flooding!
I've played for hours and found that starting small and expanding as you gather more resources works best. Don't overthink it!
Just throw some walls around your Workbench and call it a day. You'll get better at building as you go along.
