To build a roof in Valheim, start by placing the walls of your structure. Then, use the hammer to select the roof pieces, like thatch roof 26° or 45°, and snap them onto the walls. Make sure to use beams for extra stability on bigger buildings!

Honestly, just slap some thatch roof pieces on top of your walls and call it a day. You'll be fine.

From experience, I found using 26° roof pieces for smaller builds and 45° for taller ones works best. Don’t forget the beams for support!

Ah, the classic Viking struggle! Just pop up your walls, grab your hammer, and select those angled thatch roof pieces. Snap them on and voila, sheltered from the rain!
