Catching a pufferfish in Stardew Valley requires timing and location. First off, make sure it's summer because pufferfish only show up in the ocean during this season. Be ready between 12 PM and 4 PM, that's their peak time. Don't forget your fishing rod! Higher fishing levels and tackle like the Trap Bobber can help big time because pufferfish are pretty wiggly.

Was fishing in Stardew for ages and finally caught my pufferfish last summer. High level tackle helps a lot, and don't forget to check the weather. Seemed to have better luck on sunny days.

Just aim for summer, ocean, and fish between noon and 4. Honestly, it's just a lot of luck and patience.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
