To catch the Angler in Stardew Valley, fish in the river on the east side of the map, near the mountain area during Fall. It's one of the legendary fish, so it'll be tougher to reel in than your average carp. Make sure your fishing level is up and maybe bring some bait and tackle to increase your chances.

Look, if you want the Angler, get ready to test your patience. Fall, east river, and pray to the Stardew gods your fishing skill isn't trash.

Caught the Angler last Fall! Pro tip: fish near that one rock that sorta looks like it's pointing. It's all about that spot and a little luck.
