Catching fast fish in Stardew Valley can be a real thrill! First off, you'll want to upgrade your fishing rod - the Iridium Rod is a game-changer. Also, don't forget to use bait and tackle; the trap bobber especially reduces the escape rate of fish. And keep practicing! Your fishing skill level makes a big difference. The higher the level, the easier it is to keep those speedy fish on the line.

Gonna go against the grain here but don't sweat catching the fast fish too much. Enjoy the game at your own pace. There's plenty to do besides fishing, and you'll naturally get better over time.

tbh, just keep trying. at first, it feels impossible but once u get the hang of it, it gets easier. oh, and coffee! drink coffee in the game for a speed boost, helps with reacting quicker to those fast fish.
