Just tap repeatedly instead of holding down the button. It gives you more control over the fishing bar. And don't forget to eat food that boosts your fishing skill!

Honestly, just keep practicing. Stardew Valley's fishing can be tough at first, but it gets easier. Or, you know, look up which fish are worth the most and focus on those to make it feel more worth it.

Catching fish in Stardew Valley is all about timing and patience! First, make sure you're using the right bait and tackle for the type of fish you're after. Upgrading your fishing rod can also make a huge difference. Practice the mini-game to get used to the bar's movement; the trick is to keep the fish within the green bar by clicking at a steady pace. Different fish have different patterns, so learning those helps a lot!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
