To catch a squid in Stardew Valley, you'll wanna hit the ocean during winter nights. Make sure it's between 6 PM and 2 AM game time. A higher fishing level helps, and don't forget to stock up on bait and maybe even eat a dish that boosts your fishing skill for that extra edge!

I spent ages trying to catch one, then I realized I was fishing at the wrong time! Winter nights, people, that's the secret sauce. Make sure your fishing rod is ready and maybe throw in some crab cakes for that fishing skill boost. Caught my first one after following this advice!

Just fish at the ocean at night in winter. Squid are there, no need to overcomplicate it.

Winter nights are squid prime time at the ocean. But honestly, focus on leveling up your fishing and use the right bait. Makes a world of difference.
