Been a host a bunch of times - just head to the laptop in the lobby area, interact with it, and you can tweak everything from game length to impostor count.
To change game settings as host, start a game, go to the laptop in the lobby, and interact with it. You'll then be able to customize game settings like map, number of impostors, player speed, etc. Happy sabotaging!
You have to use the laptop in the lobby before starting the game. Click on it and change settings. Simple as that!
