Sorry to break it to you, but once you've set your name in Stardew Valley, you're pretty much stuck with it for the duration of your game. The game doesn't allow you to change your character's name after you've started. However, if you're really desperate, you could dive into the game files if you're on PC. It involves a bit of technical know-how, though. Always make sure to back up your save file before you go tinkering!

Actually, you CAN change your name, but it's not straightforward. If you're on PC, you can edit your save file. It's a bit techy and not officially supported, so proceed with caution and back up your files first!

You can't change your name in-game, unfortunately. Gotta plan ahead and pick a name you won't regret!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
