Actually, there's a trick if you really wanna shake things up. If you form a deep connection with the Wizard in the game, you'll unlock the Shrine of Illusions. For 500G, you can change your appearance, which kinda lets you sidestep the whole gender thing by changing your character's hair, skin, and clothes. It's not a direct gender switch, but it gives you some freedom to redefine your character!

You can't officially change your gender in Stardew Valley once you've created your character. But don't let that stop you! The game doesn't restrict clothing or hairstyle options based on gender, so you can always express yourself in any way you see fit. Just dive into your wardrobe and the mirror in your in-game house to switch up your look.

Just use mods lol. Plenty out there that let you swap gender on the fly. Remember, mods are PC/Mac only and come with their own risks!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
