If you've got access to the world save files, open the .fwl file in Notepad. The seed is listed right at the top!

Easy peasy! Just hit F5 to bring up the console and type 'imacheater' (without quotes) to enable cheats. Then type 'seed' to see your map seed.

Honestly, just ask your friend for the seed if you鈥檙e playing multiplayer. It鈥檚 usually easier that way!
