Just keep exploring and the mist will naturally dissipate as you move. I usually just wait it out or find higher ground.

Find the Wishbone dropped by Bonemass and use it to locate Silver deposits in the mountains. Smelt the silver to create better gear that makes the mist less of a problem.

To clear the mist in Valheim, use the Wishbone to find and mine Silver or Obsidian in the mountains. Once you craft frost-resistant gear, you can see much better!
