Why would you ever want to leave PayPal? It's awesome! But if you must, go to Account Settings and hit 'Close your account'.
Open your PayPal account, click on the gear icon, go to 'Account Settings', scroll down and click 'Close your account'. Done and done!
Had to do this last month and it's super easy. Just log in, click the gear icon for Settings, and close your account from there.
You can close it by going to 'Account Settings' and clicking 'Close your account' at the bottom. Simple as that.
