I've built all the boats in Valheim, and trust me, the Karve is a game-changer. Enough storage and way faster than a raft. Procure those fine wood pieces right away!
Ah, the Viking life! To craft a boat in Valheim, you'll need to gather some materials. For a basic raft, get 20 wood, 6 leather scraps, and 10 resin. For a more durable Karve, you'll need 30 fine wood, 10 deer hide, and 20 resin. Finally, the Longship, the mightiest of them all, requires 100 iron nails, 10 deer hide, 40 fine wood, and 40 ancient bark. Set sail, brave warrior!
Skip the raft and go straight for the Karve or Longship if you have the resources. Makes a huge difference!
