If you're into a more dedicated setup, download and install the Valheim Dedicated Server tool from Steam. Configure the server files, set up your world's name, and tweak any settings you want. Make sure to forward the necessary ports on your router so friends can connect. You'll find detailed steps on the Valheim wiki if you need more guidance.

Just use the in-game 'Start Server' option. Quick and easy!

Setting up a dedicated server definitely offers better performance and stability, especially if your friends are hopping on often. I've done it, and it's a game-changer!

Super simple! Just go to Valheim, click 'Start Game', select your character, then create a new world or select an existing one. Check the 'Start Server' box, set a password if you want, and give your friends the server name and password. Boom! You're all set!

Maybe just use someone else's server.

...you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

This includes gift cards from all your favorite brands, like Amazon, Starbucks, Apple, Roblox, and many, many more!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
