To cut stone in Valheim, you need to unlock the stonecutter. To do that, first, defeat The Elder boss and get the swamp key. Use it to enter the Swamp biome and mine iron, then craft the stonecutter with 2 iron, 10 wood, and 4 stone!

First you gotta defeat The Elder and get the swamp key. Then use it to find iron in the Swamp biome. Finally, craft the stonecutter using 2 iron, 10 wood, and 4 stone. Boom! Now you can cut stone!
