To pull off Akuma's Raging Demon (his special move), press LP, LP, Forward, LK, HP. Practice makes perfect!
As a long-time Akuma player, the key is muscle memory. For his Shoryuken, do Forward, Down, Down-Forward + 1 or 2. You'll get it!
Honestly, you just need to keep practicing. It took me ages but now I've got it down, and it's so satisfying!
