Honestly, split-screen co-op is the best way to play Stardew Valley. My partner and I have sunk so many hours into our farm this way. It feels more collaborative and fun. Just remember, each player needs a cabin!

Just a heads up, if you're trying to do split-screen co-op on PC, you're gonna need controllers for each player. Stardew doesn't support multiple keyboards and mice for co-op. Plug in, pick your cabins, and get farming!

To play split-screen co-op in Stardew Valley, first, make sure you've got a cabin for each player who'll be joining. You can add these through Robin the carpenter. Then, on the main menu, choose 'Co-op', select 'Host', and load your farm. When the game's loaded, open your inventory, go to the options menu (the controller icon), and choose 'Start Local Co-op'. Now just connect the controllers and hit start on them. Voila! Farming with friends!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
