Dropping items in Stardew Valley on the Switch is pretty straightforward! Just open your inventory, select the item you want to drop by pressing 'A', and then with the item selected, press 'Y' outside of any inventory slots. Done! Your item will drop to the ground. Just be sure not to do this with something you want to keep; reclaimed space can sometimes mean saying goodbye to that item forever if you're not careful!

Just sell the items, why drop 'em? You need all the gold you can get in this game, folks!

Actually, you can't really 'drop' items in Stardew Valley like you would in other games. If your inventory's full and you pick something up, the game swaps it with what you're holding. To really remove something, you gotta trash it or, better yet, just sell it and make some of that sweet, sweet gold.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
