Just select the fish in your inventory and click the 'eat' option. If you're not seeing the option, make sure the fish isn't one that needs to be cooked in a recipe first! Some fish are for selling or gifting, not eating raw.

Eating fish? Please, I just stockpile them for gifts. Everyone knows gems and fish are the real currency in Pelican Town.

Fish are friends, not food. Why eat them when you can build an aquarium?

To eat fish in Stardew Valley, first, catch one with your fishing rod. Then, open your inventory, select the fish, and right-click if you're on PC, or use the corresponding action button on consoles and mobile devices. Voila! Enjoy your sustainable farm-to-table meal.

Real talk: eating fish in-game gives you energy and health, just make sure it鈥檚 not a legendary fish. You can't get those beauties back.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
