Editing your Stardew Valley save file is a bit techy but totally doable! First, locate your save file in the 'Saves' folder inside the 'StardewValley' folder on your computer. This folder's usually in your 'AppData' or '.config' directory, depending on your OS. Open the save file with a text editor like Notepad++ or something similar. Make sure to backup your save file before you start messing around, just in case something goes wrong. You can change a lot of stuff, like your character's name, farm name, amount of money, etc. Just be careful and always keep a backup!

Honestly, unless you really know what you're doing, I wouldn't mess with editing save files. It's pretty easy to mess something up and potentially ruin your game data. Maybe try looking for mods that achieve what you want instead?

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
