To empty your silo in Stardew Valley, you gotta use the hay you've stored inside it by either placing it in your barn/coop feed troughs or by removing it directly with your cursor if there’s space in your inventory. Remember, it only works if you got animals that need feeding or an empty spot in your inventory for the hay.

Pro tip: build a chest near your barn or coop to store extra hay. That way, you can manually take hay from the silo during winter or when you don't have enough grass for your animals.

There's no direct 'empty' button for a silo, but you can pull hay out if you've got the Deluxe Coop or Barn which have an auto-feed system. Just make sure you have room in your inventory before trying to grab hay out of the silo.

Easy, don't build a silo. Just kidding! But really, managing your silo's hay comes down to manual removal for use or transfer to storage spaces like chests.
