Open Discord, go to User Settings > Overlay. Toggle the Enable In-game Overlay switch to on. Then head to Game Activity, find Among Us, and make sure it's toggled on there too!

Discord overlay is overrated. Just use Alt+Tab, way easier.

I've done this: open Discord settings, hit 'Overlay' and turn on in-game overlay. Then, go to 'Game Activity', add Among Us, and turn it on. Works like a charm!
