Just throw it on the ground, right? Nope, gotta be orderly in Stardew. Put hay on the feeding bench inside the coop. Keeps the chickens fed and your farm looking neat.

Super easy! Just put the hay on the feeding bench inside your coop. Your chickens will eat it directly from there. Remember to fill it up daily so your feathery friends stay happy and healthy!

Hay? Overrated. Let 'em free-range, eat grass. Only use hay when absolutely necessary.

Lemme tell ya, I forgot to feed em once, felt terrible. Just grab hay from the silo (if you've got one) and place it on the spots in your coop. Chickens go bonkers for it.

You actually don't need to feed them if they can eat grass outside, but for winter or rainy days, make sure you have a stockpile of hay to place on the feeding bench inside your coop!
