Pro tip: Upgrade your coop to an auto-feeder version as soon as you can. Saves a ton of time and your chickens stay happy without you micromanaging their meals.

Don't overthink it, just throw some hay on the trough inside the coop. If you forget, your chickens will go on a hunger strike and won't lay eggs. Also, letting them outside when it鈥檚 sunny gives them free food and happiness.

Feeding your chickens in Stardew Valley is easy peasy! Just make sure you've got hay ready either from cutting grass around your farm or buying it from Marnie's Ranch. Then, head over to your chicken coop, and place the hay on the feeding bench. Your feathered friends will handle the rest, munching happily away.

Just let them outside, they eat grass and are happier for it! Who wants to stay inside all day, anyway?

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
